What type of designer are you?

I have extensive design expertise from strategic discovery through to product delivery, turning any design and business requirement into actionable and achievable deliverables in collaboration with product and technology.

I have had exposure to a wide range of platforms, from wearable technology and through to SaaS platforms. I am not afraid of a challenge and new environments; these opportunities excite me.

My skills lean towards strategy and discovery – I strive to understand the core problems our customers face, understanding desirability and connecting experience across the physical and digital.

My DiSC profile is a mix of D and I – while incredibly efficient and dynamic, I put a lot of effort into collaboration and team relationships. I am known for bringing positivity to projects, creating connected relationships and driving outcomes.

What’s it like to work with you?

I am incredibly enthusiastic about improving projects, culture and processes. You will either find me deep within a discovery research piece or organising events within the team to build connection and collaboration, especially when it comes to Pictionary or making monsters with stakeholders.

At Concentrix Catalyst, I led the DEI initiative “Ladies of Catalyst”, a group for our female-identifying team members within the APAC region. We hosted events where our group members shared experiences, built relationships and supported each other. Our events included facilitated group discussions (Buying a home, returning to work as a new mum), workshops and knowledge sharing (How to build your own furniture, fast fashion impacts on women) and external guest speakers.

What is your ideal workplace?

I thrive in collaborative environments with tight knit teams open to innovation but I don’t shy away from complex and vast stakeholder environments. I appreciate having a hybrid office culture where teams are encouraged to come together and build connection.

As a hybrid introvert/extrovert, I gain energy from being around a team, but also really appreciate alone time to efficiently complete focused work.

A quick look at the places I've been, captured on 35mm film

Outside of work, I live to travel, as exploration and putting myself into new environments feeds my creativity. While travelling, I adore capturing moments on my refurbished 1980s camera… there's something special about the way it captures light, and the suspense of waiting to see how the shots turned out. I am
always thankful when they don’t come out blurry!

Above and below are a few shots I love, let me know which places you recognise.
