What type of designer are you?
I have extensive design expertise from discovery through to delivery, with an ability to turn any design requirement into actionable and achievable pieces of work in collaboration with stakeholders, analysts and engineers.
I have had exposure to a wide range of platforms, from wearable technology and apps through to custom CMS. I am not afraid of a challenge and new environments; these opportunities excite me.
My skills lean towards strategy and discovery – I strive to understand the core problems our clients and their customers face, and ideating and testing opportunities.
My DiSC profile is a mix of D and I – while incredibly efficient and dynamic, I put a lot of effort into collaboration and team relationships. I am known for bringing positivity to projects, from daily stand-ups through to check-ins with clients.
What’s it like to work with you?
I am incredibly enthusiastic about improving projects, culture and processes. You will either find me deep within a discovery research piece or organising events within the team to build connection and collaboration.
At Concentrix Catalyst, I led the DEI initiative “Ladies of Catalyst”, a group for our female-identifying team members in the APAC region. We hosted events where our group members shared experiences, built relationships and supported each other. Our events included facilitated group discussions (Buying a home, returning to work as a new mum), workshops and knowledge sharing (How to build your own furniture, fast fashion impacts on women) and external guest speakers.
What is your ideal workplace?
I thrive in collaborative environments with tight knit teams open to innovation. I appreciate having an in person office culture (or alternative) where teams are encouraged to come together and build connection. Post-pandemic I am mostly found in the office blasting 2000s tunes and snacking on banana chips.
As a hybrid introvert/extrovert, I gain energy from being around a team, but also really appreciate alone time to efficiently complete focused work.
